We still need volunteers for this event, so please consider helping out if you are available, especially if you have a car. Make a difference in the Evanston community by volunteering with other GSA members at The Harvest food pantry! Harvest is a “donations driven” organization that provides food, clothing, and toiletries to up to 150 Evanston families every week. We need volunteers for our GSA team to perform jobs like: setting up and preparing bags of food, helping patrons check in, sorting clothing donations, re-stocking food and clothing supplies, and helping patrons pick out items. There is something for everyone, and the energetic team atmosphere is a fun break from the daily grind! If you are interested in participating, e-mail Lauren at lekreno@u.northwestern.edu with your contact information. Please include whether you can drive (yourself and others) to the site.
